PICTURES! You better love em!

Hello sweet friends! I just got a new computer and finally got a chance to upload all of my pictures from the last 3 weeks. I couldn't possibly explain everything we've been doing in words without writing several essays that I know you don't want to read! I hope the pictures will suffice for now, and if you're curious about anything... email me! I am missing you all very much and LOVE seeing your updates on FB. Keep them coming!

One of our first Philippine sunrises!

Jet lag makes for some quality time and quality sunrises :)

One of our many, many modes of transportation- the back of a truck!
Our view at South Sea- where we stayed the first few days!

We did a lot of this the first few days... frisbee in the pool, not so bad!

We took a day adventure to Apo Island to go snorkeling!

ALL of the water here looks like this. Stunning.

My family! So much love for these people.

A very common food here. Dried fish. It's...interesting! Very salty.

This is the dump site we visited in Dumaguete. The smell was overwhelming.

This is Mary Ann. She's 24 with 3 children, and this is where she works for $2USD/ day.

We met these boys outside the dump site. They were definitely a light at the end of the tunnel for us.
Our beautiful site coordinators- Cobbie and Dessa! This was our visit to Mabinay.

MY CLASSROOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tell me it isn't the cutest thing you've ever seen!

Ma'am Abby wants to know if you're ready for school today!

This is the birds-eye view of the main street of Mabinay! It's wonderful!

My church in Mabinay.

My babies!  They're perfect.

I've made lots of friends in Mabinay already.

Visiting the fair trade factory in Cebu!

Going inside the fair trade factory... lookin snazzy!

I'm gonna miss this weirdo when he heads to Manila!

Very cute kids in Ermita- our urban poverty visit.

Shelby and I goofing off at Magellan's cross in Cebu!

The site where Magellan planted the cross and declared the Philippines his land! Pretty cool.

Honey Duncan LOVES having 3 new sisters ;)

The waterfall where we played in Cuanos! Beautiful!

LOVED these kids! They were such a joy to be around.

Baby Vincent :)

We did a feeding program in Cuanos- giving breakfast to the kids in the village on Sunday morning.

Ate Liza prepared the food and helped us to distribute it!

Sunset in Bohol after our boat ride there.

This is my sweet mama Raquel, who we stayed with in Bohol.  I cried leaving her- she's an angel!

Our Bohol mamas!

Again, one of the many modes of transportation. Definitely felt filipina in this one!

Bus ride to the chocolate hills!
The chocolate hills! Love my family!

YAV! ;)

Chivin on from Bohol :)

Ate Raquel digging up sweet potatoes for lunch.

Shelby rode a carabao! And laughed the whole time :)

Hahahaha, these never get old!

My literal mountaintop experience! God is so good!

The view from the top... blissful!
The pictures are kind of out of order, so I apologize... but I thought the last one was fitting! I'm so grateful for the experiences we've had so far, and to all of you supporting me from home and all over the globe! Please continue to pray for us as we head to a week of reflection on Monday...and head to our site placements the Monday after that! Eeeek! Sending so, so much love!
